Hi guys and cheers for all the previous advice and comments that come through this great website.

I have just returned 2 days ago from a couple of weeks in Pattaya and am already depressed and looking to get back lol.

My question is what is it like late November and early December as thats when I'm looking at going now.

I'd like to know on weather, prices and amount of people there and women.

Cheers in advance for any info.

I'm also looking at staying in a guest house this time as oppose to a hotel any views on this or recommendations, I'm toying with the idea of Armaggedon or the rock house in soi LK Metro.

I was here for the whole of December the year before last. The weather was spot on, hardly rained at all the whole time I was here.

It was very busy though, especially leading up to and all over the Christmas period. Everywhere was really lively but it also meant more competition for the best girls in comparison to low season (not that there isn't enough to go around.)

Can't comment on guest houses though as I haven't stayed in any for a while. There are so many around though that I'm sure you won't be disappointed. My advice would be to book one early though as I seem to remember leaving it to the last minute and a lot of the ones I tried were fully booked. That's how busy it was!

Visited last November to early December and into a long cold UK winter (walked last 2 miles home in the ice & snow) the onset of winter made the LOS blues feel ten fold worse than any other trip. If doing a winter trip again i'd pick January over Novenber as at least Spring isn't too far away when you get back to the UK

Last year I was in PTY from mid November to mid December. Weather is perfect. Hardly any rain and not hot.

Some Guesthouses have higher prices from beginning of November others from December. Prices are not as high as Christmas and New Year.

I had no problem finding nice ladies and the prices for the ladies were the same as always.

Have not stayed at any of these Guesthouses but it’s a good idea to make reservations when you on this time of year.

One morning I shot an elephant in my pajamas. How he got in my pajamas, I don't know

A great time of the year for a visit. The heat and humidity are backing off and you should get some fine weather for a start. Prices of hotels and guesthouses will often go up for the high season, but choose carefully and this should not be a biggie. The pace starts to pick up all around town - the town starts getting busier. If you're in town for the 10th, you'll get Loy Krathong as a bonus...the girls look great in traditional outfits.

I usually stick to hotels, but China Garden in Soi Lengkee looks very nice for the price. Others will probably pitch in with some alternatives, but you won't go too far wrong in a great area. Book early to avoid disappointment.
