well I am a cheap charlie and usually spend 500 to 650 per night for an aircon room in a guest house - usually pay 21 to 30 days in advance - any one out there do it for less ?

I stay at nicer, more expensive places. Not to impress girls, but because I get very little vacation each year (I'm lucky if I get to LOS each year for about a week) and I want to spend that time in as much comfort as possible.

 

That said, my last trip was free on Marriott points, and my next scheduled trip was booked with Holiday Inn points, so, technically, I'm paying less than 500 baht/night!

I always stay in a guesthouse for two or tree nights to get the mongering out of my system and than call my regular TG and stay in her room! Less money for a room, more money to spend!

I stay long years at the White Rose 2 hotel in Soi White rose.

From WS Inside at P72 30 meter on the right side.They

make all new in the hotel.Clean rooms,(every day ) new towells,safetyboxes at the

reception ( more safe than a room safe ),and all from 680 bath up to 750.

Good place to stay.IN the middle of action,but quiet to sleep.Cheers.

of all the years i have been going to patts I have found a great guest house on LK Metro 1 week stay for 3000baht for a budget room and you get a 10% discount on top of that if you are a pattay addicts member 3som bar and guest house

BTW, It is not on Soi Honey. It is on the Soi parallel to Soi Honey.

I stay at Robin's- Nest in Soi Diana Inn I have small quiet room at the back of the building and phone Robin a couple of weeks in advance to get a first floor room because of my disabilties. I pay 450 baht a night and when it is totalled up Robin always gives me a discount as return customer.

 

The place has everything I need.

 

This is a short video of my room on my fourth time of staying at Robin's Nest. I did it for some guys in England who are making their fisrt trip.

 

Spotlessly clean rooms and you have free wifi, fridge, TV and DVD player a nice sized bed and aircon. Excellent value and great food in the Nest-U-Raunt.

 

Very good and well trained staff in the hotel and Nest-Ur-Raunt.

Hehe, if you have the stamina you can take as many Ladies back as you like mate

The reception staff on duty however do have strict instructions from Robin not to admit and women without Thai ID cards, no exceptions.
