LK Royal Suite

Hi I was wondering if anyone have stayed in this hotel lately? http://www.agoda.com/asia/thailand/pattaya/lk_royal_suite_hotel.html . I have booked a versace suite room next month for the wife and I.

Is the place any good? I would like to invite the wifes mother and her younger sister whos 17 years old, to stay with us for some days.

Anyone knows if the hotels is family friendly? or will nightlife be totally in their face?

I stayed at the LK Royal Suites a few months ago and can confirm it is ok for a family and far enough away from the bars and gogos.In fact it was too far for me!

I've been in LK royal suite in 2009,2010 and 2011.

I've been in the standard room, the one bedroom suite and also the versace suite ! :-)

 

I like this hotel very much !!!

the suites are very luxery.

 

I'll will say you 1 thing !

If possible cancel the versace suite. The one room bedroom suite is the SAME but has not the Napoleon stuff !!!

really , one room suite is great !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

never take the versace suite, waste of money !!! Just same room room like one bedroom suite !

Quick question.....

 

Is hotel location pretty quiet?

Can you hear any street noises from your rooms?

 

I am not familiar with location of the hotel and was hoping someone here can shed some light on this...sometimes you book a hotel sight unseen over the net and realise that there is a nightclub or beer bar playing blaring music through thw whole night!

 

Appreciate your thoughts and input on this gents

I stayed there twice and it is very quiet area without bars next door. There is a family mart or 7-11 next door so easy to get things for the room. As the main building (studios are in annex) are all 1 bedrooms it is a quiet hotel with fewer numbers of people coming in and out and you have two rooms (sitting and sleeping) so not much back to back noise. If you want down time to relax away from the Pattay scene it is a good choice. Due to price and location it is less of a hard core monger place and more for couples or people who appreciate peace and quiet.

 

I agree with an earlier post that Versace is same room with just more ornate furniture so not really worth a premium IMHO. Only bummer for me was had to pay extra for internet time. For me it is a great place. They do weekly and mothly rates depending on how long you are staying. Their website has details.
