BKK TO LHR return best prices and where

Hi, does anybody know where is the best place to get a 6 month ticket to travel from Bangkok to UK.

Need to travel quite soon and can't find any decent prices at the minute(maybe there isn't any LOL)

If anyone has any ideas please give me a shout.

Have been looking at tickets myself for my in-laws, also looking at 6 month tickets, I think the cheapest I found was about 33,000 baht per person.

Yes I seem to be coming up with some similar prices.

I hjave found one for 29000 with Eygypt air(No idea what they are like)

Suprisingly I seen BA at 41000 and that is direct.

I'm still looking as I'm not sure about Eygypt air safety and comfort.

Last time I booked, the best prices for direct BKK-LHR-BKK flights were on the EVA air web-site.

Have flown Egypt air a few times and they are fine. What is truely dreadfull is if you have to change in Cairo and have any time to sepend at the airport.

If your flying with a Thai on a Thai passport I would fly direct, I once flew in-direct with my Thai wife and it was hassle, immigration at the transit airport took my wifes passport away somewhere, made us wait, uncomfortable experience. Since then she's only ever flew direct, usually with Thai Airways if she's by herself or EVA with me but she went with BA last time because we only bought her ticket the day before travel and they were the cheapest.

 

My wife though BA was great but I think that was due to having 3 seats to herself, she also said the food was good. The return ticket was £728 but LHR-BKK-LHR. The other way round it comes in at 41,000baht which aint bad.

Eva do have some great deals on ow & return.

 

Make sure you get the young guy he is spot on as the older guys are old school indian & not the best to chat with.

Just checked there and you can get Egypt air for 588gbp works out at 29,184thb that's flying out next Monday and going back in 6 months 6th of December. But only thing is you have a long stop over in Cairo 11 hours going over and 6 hours going back.

Direct flight is almost double that with BA.

Egypt air is the cheapest by a 200gbp from what I can find I checked lots of agencies for ya.

Cairo airport sucks big-time: IMO 17 hours there is not worth the saving - go EVA or similar.
