Secrets Pattaya

Stayed at Secrets early March I have too stay for my first trip it was a great place too stay. first of the reservation process was very easy and safe.

 

Walking Street was 1 min away what more can you you ask for

I think that sounds like a good place to start and I like how the bar is attached to the hotel. The room prices seem reasonable as well.

true true!! you book a standard room and they will tell you. sorry all booked and offer you a deluxe , you ask for a deluxe and they say sorry all booked we only have superior they try to get every baht out of newbies

What ever you do don't mention fish and chips or a big sweaty sock will throw you out.......

Good for newbies, but be aware the Bar has many thirsty girls, dancers, hostesses, waitresses, mamasans, other bar staff.

If your thing is buying about half a dozen girls a drink(s) at a time, then fine, but for a newbee it is easy to loose your head or feel pressured into it.

This is the exact OPPOSITE of my experience there over a couple of weeks last March.

 

They will leave you alone unless you seek their attention. Nobody pressured me for a LD or anything else.

 

Secrets is a great venue IMHO.

Prefer a proper hotel than rooms above a bar myself

This is the exact OPPOSITE of my experience there over a couple of weeks last March.

 

They will leave you alone unless you seek their attention. Nobody pressured me for a LD or anything else.

 

Secrets is a great venue IMHO.

Stayed there on my first trip and had a blast the girls were cool but more importantly for me the a lot of cool guys took me out and should me around!

Haven't stayed since but did enjoy my stay there!

Foods a little pricey, but good all in all

Ive stayed there a few times, even as a newbie and never encountered this situation? Do you have first hand experience of this??

the girls in there are not allowed to ask for a drink, you have to offer.(and unlike many gogo bars she can only get drinks off 1 customer at a time not have 2 or 3 guys on the go at the same time)

they know me in there and i am left alone very rarely has a girl ever approached me on her own. In the 4 plus years it's been open i have only ever paid the bar 4 or 5 times. I use the place as somewhere to have a quiet beer and watch the football or sometimes something to eat. even late at night the kitchen is still open and the menu is extensive.

I have seen the rooms (about 24) and they are fine for the price and could not be more handy than walking st though i have never stayed there.

the mamasans in there unless they are new, know to leave me be but the new ones will come and ask if i want any company.

that's when newbies can get sucked into the buying LD's game, and end up with a substantial bar bill.

but while they are buying they are having a great time and after years of being ignored by ugly females back home they are suddenly surrounded by 5 or 6 pretty girls and service girls laughing at their jokes and playing bar games.

yes the girls will then take advantage (all the girls in pattaya are keen to get hold of a newbie ), but when that newbie gets home to alaska or where ever, he is going to remember a great afternoon not worry about his bar bill that day.

the next time he comes, and as we know there is almost always a next time he will probably be more prudent with his cash, but that's all part of the learning curve .

 

so yes it is a good place to stay for a newbie but don't get carried away buying LD's for all your new temporary friends

although it's not big it is a proper hotel with its own entrance and a bar on the ground floor

Not my definition of a proper hotel , rooms above a bar is far more suitable than a hotel to describe Secrets
