Welcome to the board Raymondo! I am sorry but you will need to give us a bit more detail than that, but, to keep the reply short the answer is NO! The only thing I can say is that I use NetFlights. Nuff said I think.

The golden rule is to be happy with whatever you pay and to ignore the bloke in the next seat who say's he only paid £375

Whatever you pay, where and when ever you go, have a great time

Not sure where in England you are from.

If you nearest airport is Heathrow then it is worth paying that bit extra to fly direct (unless you find a real bargain.

Try www.travelsupermarket.com or email www.westeasttravel.co.uk to get a good selection of prices.

I have used Eva Air many times without any problems. Always a good service and pretty new planes.

For a direct flight they are normally the best priced. Southall travel is a good website and they are normally slightly cheaper than the Eva website.

the cheapest flights from england to bangkok go from heathrow. the cheapest airlines include jet airways (fantastic airline), gulf airways (mediocre airline), air india (disgustingly bad airline). also, air eva and thai airways go direct, if you can bag a direct flight for not much more than the other airlines, its worth doing, a lot more conveinient and less hassle than changing somewhere. as somebody else said, air eva is the best choice because their planes are pretty new and the inflight entertainment is really good. thai airways is ok but old planes and no inflight entertainment. i have just booked a flight to bkk on sep 1st coming home sep 16th with air eva, price 484 quid...dont think you will get a better price for a direct flight anywhere.

You can get a Direct flight with Eva Air for £500-£600. You may be able to get an indirect flight for a little less than £500 but ask yourself if saving £50 is worth the hassle of changing planes when your halfway there, having to wait a few hours, also think how much money you could spend while your in transit at the airport. Plus with 2 flights, there is twice the chance of delays.

With a direct flight, you get on, have your dinner, take a sleeping tablet, sleep, wakeup, eat breakfast, land.

I always look on travelsupermarket.com, they check all the main agents.

If you are the "don'tgivafuck" type and enjoy complete irrational airport madness they ain't that bad. A few pissed or sleepy pilots etc but you get what you pay for. If you'r adrenalin junkie Air India is the carrier.

believe me, air india are a disgrace. have mentioned it before but here goes again, a fellow addict booked a flight last june for a december flight. a week before he was due to fly, air india cancelled his flight giving no explanation. he was due to fly out on the same flight as me on december 29th. when i was on the flight, i overheard a woman behind me telling the person next to her that she had booked the flight only a week ago. so basically, because our fellow addict had got the flight at a great price, air india cancelled his flight because there was other people willing to pay a higher price. now thats disgusting. also, my flight experience with air india was crap too. every flight was an hour plus late. food was garbage. staff were rude, basically the only good thing about that round trip was that i did arrive in bangkok and then back to england again, apart from that, it was terrible. not only that, if air india are offering 489 quid, i am guessing that jet airways (another indian airline but dont let this put you off, they are brilliant) wont be too far behind them. i have flown jet airways 6 times, never had a bad experience, always on time, gorgeous trolley dolleys and cant do enough for you. fantastic planes and great ife. the only way i would ever even consider going with air india again is if they undercut the nearest competitor by a long way, even then i would have to be really scrimping and scraping. just as a side note, i am sure you will see a flight for 489 quid or not too much more than that with jet airways or kingfisher (apparantly another decent indian airline) if you keep looking. these are the best sites, ebookers.com southalltravel.co.uk opodo.co.uk kayak.co.uk zugu.co.uk

hope this helps

Hi

EVA have been consistent in all the years I've been flying them (since early 1999). Their Frequent flyer rewards used to be the best in the business, they have a 20 kg weight allowance but are pretty lenient with it on the UK end, as the check in staff are the Air Canada desk clerks.

I got a free upgrade last time, but it might be worth noting that they have got into the habit of cancelling the Wednesday night flight and shunting the passengers onto Thursdays due to lack of demand / traffic / maintenance. I know this has happened to one BM here and to me on an occasion.

Direct is the best way to travel, if, like me you can sleep and fit into the chairs without too much bother (being relatively small framed has its advantages). IFE is top notch, food as good as it gets on an airline and the staff although they do a disappearing act for alot of the flight are pretty good. 11 or so hours and you're hitting the tarmac at BKK.

EVA pricing has always been competetive with the other direct operators, most closely with Thai. They far outstrip Qantas and BA, and to be honest if it cost me £100 more to go direct then it's well worth it, least of all the fact your luggage has less chance of getting lost. nothing worse than turning up on Soi 8 with your smelly, creased clothes from the flight....

Cheers

Butch

I used Oman the last time I went and they were superb. The flight back to the UK was a little early but no problems.

If it flies, floats or fucks - it will be cheaper to rent !
