One of my favourite Everton players from the past is the great Bob Latchford

Between 1974 & 1981 he played 236 games for Everton scoring 106 goals

Bob moved up in the world after leaving Everton, joining the mighty Swans :D

I watched him score a hat trick on debut against Leeds at the Vetch Field in our first game in the top division in 1981. We beat them 5-1 and Alan Curtis scored my favourite ever Swans goal in the same game. :ThumbUp6:

I'm a fan of any player that scores against Leeds :D

"Despite his size – 6 feet (1.83m) tall – he was very fast over short distances, a quality he used to his advantage when scoring many of his goals."

I always thought that he was taller, he was a monster in the nicest way when on the pitch. Imagine him playing with Wayne Rooney...

Bobby latchford walks on water , that vid brought back a lot of memories there mate, I was in the old enclosure when he got his 30th against Chelsea, the whole ground went nuts, if I remember right the daily express offered £10,000 that season if any player scored 30 league goals and according to big Bob after he paid tax on it and boxed off the rest of his team mates he ended up with about £250  , probably wasn't getting £ 250 a week in those days, lol

Yes the cash was offered and our Bob won.  And I was also at the game.

A great day

And Sandro Ramirez at 21 looks a very good buy for Everton

Is defensive side needs working on but I am sure Everton will help him improve that side of his game

Bid of 40m plus 5m add ons for sigurdsson rejected. Swansea holding out for 50m.  Sigurdsson didnt travel on pre season tour with swansea either. Think its inevitable everton will sign him

I hope this situation gets sorted out sooner rather than later. It's going to be interesting to see if he goes or stays.  It looks like he will be going

The ground for the 2nd leg only holds 5,000 so Everton have only been given an allocation of 450.  Everton can sell that many more than 10 times over

I just read a funny comment from Wayne Rooney. He knew he was "HOME" when the Everton kit man Jimmy Martin said to him "here's two right flip-flops, you've never had a left-foot!"

Longest running kit man in the premier league
