Jocky wages and transfer fees are getting stupid now.  Football has gone crazy

Yeah , someday the bubble will burst in the premiership . Nowadays , The professionals footballers don't give a shit about trophies , medals and glory but care about the wages . In Ireland , we have Irish Sport (GAA and Hurling) , they get no wages , but the games was always great with high tempo , all for the glory and the medals .

Jocky its OK I dont have a problem with it

I can remember a few years ago I met an Irish guy in Pattaya and he loved hurling.  And one afternoon we spent an afternoon on Koh Larn with a couple of Thai girls.  And he brought along a couple of hurling sticks and a ball with him.  And we spent some of the afternoon knocking the ball between us

And according to the news we have now got Ashley Williams for £12 million

Sell a centre half for nearly 50 million and get another for 12 million.  Nice bit of profit for the mighty blues

A very good buy , was impressed with him in France 2016 .

He's going to be a huge loss for the Swans. He's looked fed up for a couple of seasons - not helped by not having a solid partner in defence.

Everton fans confuse new signing with American actress :-)

http://www.southwales-eveningpost.co.uk/everton-fans-congratulate-ashletulate/story-29609523-detail/story.html

US actress Ashley Williams was stunned after being inundated of messages of congratulations after footie fans confused her for the Welsh captain.

Everton fans wanted to wish Williams, aged 31, well after completing his £12 million switch from the Swans to the club on Tuesday.

But they ended up getting confused and tweeting the How I Met Your Mother actress instead.

She had scores of tweets saying: "Welcome to Everton Ashley".

Ashley, aged 37, took the step of tweeting her bemusement to all those who got in touch.

She tweeted: "Hey all soccer fans who are congratulating me about #AshleyWilliams move to Everton: watch #TheJimGaffiganShow! "Also I'm terrible at soccer."

Ashley also urged her new followers to think twice before unfollowing her new-found fans not to unfollow her just because she "is a late thirties actress on TV and not a kickass soccer player."

Everton fanzine Toffee News wrote to her saying: "Wait we didn't sign you? I'm a little disappointed really."

But the good humoured actress replied: "I'm more than happy to take the money, tho! I'll sign whatever you need."

Football star Ashley Williams has already spoken to Everton fans about his switch on the club's social media.
