Billabong Hotel Review

I was booked to stay at Billabong for 1 week, but i have extended it for another week. I booked a midrange room (cant remember name) for 750 baht/night and i have to say im pretty impressed for that kind of money. The room is nice and spacious as well as clean, maid changes towels and cleans daily. The bathroom is also clean, no sign of mould or bugs. There was a slight damp smell the day i arrived but that went as soon as the air con came on.

 

The free wifi internet in room is fast and stable and there is a TV if you want it (i havent used it) and the fridge is well stocked with water, soft drinks and alcohol.

 

I had the big breakfast in the restaurant here which was 2 egggs, 2 sausages, 2 bacon, 2 toast, tomatos and hash browns with orange juice for 160 baht. I was quite impressed with the breakfast and it certainly filled me up, although the sausages in thailand are never the same as back home.

 

I only have a couple of minor negative points:

My wooden bedframe creaks so loud it has woken me up when im moving in my sleep, and the noise it makes when i have a girl here is unreal, i'm sure there is no one in the room next door or they would have complained by now.

 

The other complaint, again minor is that i ordered some Thai food, in Thai and asked for it "pet pet" I heard the chef ask the lady who took my order if it was for thai or falang, she said falang and when the food came i could tell it had been changed to suit falang taste which was not what i wanted. So lesson learned I wont eat thai food from here.

 

Overall I am giving Billabong a 9/10 rating for its price range. I will definitely stay here again. Its a great location, with Walking Street just a short walk, and its on the same street as Lolitas, MASH, Office and Champagne agogo. The staff are also very friendly and accommodating.

This is no private entrance, you got to pass by the bar. I just stayed there a few weeks ago, there wasnt any trouble at all, you do not have to worry bout the girls from the bar, they are all really friendly.

I tryed to book the billie but they never got back to me so i am at Lkmetro apps from 23 may till 30 may, will see if i can get into billie for rest of my stay till 8 june, all i have read is good things about this place

Well i read from another post that in Billabong, you can hook up with one of the BG wrking then, then hook up with another BG working there as well the following day, and lastly bring another BG back from other place without any problem

 

AS for me, I only brought girls from Agogo back and there were no problems at all

WS is a 10-15 minute walk from Billabong. It's not far but not next door either.

Stayed at the Billabong last trip. The hotel is good value, also a good starting point for newbies - always some experienced BMs around.

 

The location is also great, right in the middle of Soi Metra. I prefer Soi Metro to WS and Soi 6.

 

It has five storey and no elevator, but up high you have a good view and there is no noise - up to you as they say.

 

My rating 10/10.
