Looking for a clean room between 3000-5000 / 1year

Not in central pats, prefer the jomtien/cosy beach area.

And preferable in a secured/save area.

Any suggestions or personal experiences are welcome,

Thanks in advance .

try this place , I almost stayed there, N.A.T apartment unfurnished room start at 4300/month,furnished an extra 700. the higher the floor the cheaper the room, I prefer the higher floors, more breeze, less noise, better outlook and a bit of exercise.(this pretty much answers the question-"are thais lazy") It seems a clean modern building, I think internet is included. Its in the soi bonkhai area, which I like, your about a 1 km from Walking Street but parts of it have a village/rural feel. your about 50m from a good cheap thai market, if you like thai food and 7/11.With these places, and when paying anywhere monthly, they get you on the electricity, this place charges 6B/ unit, which I think is about 200% on what they pay. The girl who managers the place is charming but I would check the meter when I moved in -one of the delights of thailand is that people can smile and look you in the eye and rip u off at the same time, don't get me wrong it's a lot better than some places where you might end up with a knife in your guts. If you leave the air-con on 24/7 you might end up paying the same in electricity as you do in rent. There are cheaper places, my girlfried was staying at a place not far away, furnished for 3500 but no air-con.You probably know, you'll need a bike in this area{2000/month}.

I think you can find cheaper on the dark side,I would come and get a place for a month and look around.

As an aside, i'm not sure about some of the previous responses, attempts at humour, people protecting their business interests. The internet seems to be outlet for some people's repressed inner self,my heart goes out to them. Good Luck.
