Thai SIM card

Hey all, about this Thai SIM card...I have an iPhone, do they have SIM cards that will work with my iPhone? or just buy a cheap phone? I do have international calling on my plan but I don't think I'll be using it much, other than checking emails and calling home to let them know all is well. I don't think I'll be giving my number to the girls either. I've heard they'll ring and text you to death. Any advice would be great and as always thank you in advance !!

If you will be going out drinking most nights and like to have a bit too much it is probably best to pick up a cheap phone when you get there. They can be bought for under 1000 Baht.

All Thai carriers have mini sim for iPhone and micro sim for iPhone 4. I believed they are still 49 baht.

Assuming your phone is unlocked you'll be able to get a SIM for it no problem. When I was there in January I used a Happy SIM in my iPhone 3GS... I added the unlimited data option for 49 baht/day and found it worked pretty well. The data was a little slow as Happy doesn't have 3G, only EDGE service, but it was perfectly usable for email and Google maps.
