Hi mate,

you would think there be no charge because you have paid for a double room, i bet they will try if you bring back different guest each night. those hotels are a little up market. or just say my wife is checking in on a such and such day, or just ring.

I've not struck a hotel yet that has any issues with bringing girls back. This includes 5-star hotels. It would be more the idiot exception than the rule.

I know for certain that some of the more upscale ones DO. But I suppose the best thing is to ask beforehand.

Guys this has come up before. Please note that booking a double ROOM does not automatically imply double OCCUPANCY.

When you book a hotel, especially online, make sure you book double OCCUPANCY. This means booked for two + two breakfasts etc where applicable.

Double occupancy is almost always the same cost as single occupancy.

If you book using (say) Agoda fill in the 2nd guest as (say) Mrs Smith.

Providing you book double occupancy at outset, no hotel should legitimately refuse a (one) guest. A slightly different issue is the hotels "attitude" to that said guest. You may gind some of the high end hotels discourage bar girl guests and might look down on her, make her feel uncomfortable at check in and even make YOU feel uncomfortable at check in too. By check in I refer to her handing in her ID card at reception.
