I found the 'gin tap' song on YouTube. A band played it in a local bar down the road last week; it was well received by Thai & Farang alike. :Macarena:

Well, if you want to learn an easy Thai song then you should have a look at the Elephant Song, or in Thai "Pleng Chaang"

It's a children's song that every Thai knows and if they hear a Farang sing it you can be sure to see nothing but smiles :D

Here's a link to a lovely Thai lady by the name of Bon, singing and explaining the song:

Note: if you're learning Thai you should have a look at her other lessons too, they're pretty good!

Thanks for this link!

I am already subbed to this girl on YT but must have missed this lesson....

I will be learning it before my next trip. :)

  • 5 months later...

Mun Ton Thon was already mentioned but only in the slower version. So far I only found one of the faster remixes (that is also played at the bars) on youtube:

(with amazing dance action :D)

Without doubt, it's "Kan hou" now... with nearly 17 million views on youtube.

Men ears don't itch, so don't sing it like that lady!

Well 17 million views (+ yours) for the « Nong Ja » version above.

The original version from Liu (หลิว วาริสสรา) got less than1 million view, I wonder why !

This is one that Sa-teef posted on one of his threads. I hear it evey time I go to have a Thai massage here in Melbourne and the song was stuck in my head. The massage girls alway hum along to it so I assume it's a popular one. The singer is very cute too with an odd name.

PS. I always thought she was singing "day and night" in the chorus but turns out to be "dai yin mai". :GoldenSmile1:

This shore would give the wedding party an extra boost if it was done by the OP :Laugh1: !
