Sunview place, Soi Buakhao

Hi All

 

Has anyone stayed at this hotel recently? i have read the old reviews and just want to know if its still the same standard? also open to ideas for hotels of same price in the area with a pool!

it is ok,but not as good as Pattaya Bay Resort

Sunview place is still ok and well maintained with little sign of wear. Good security and everything still works. One advantage the Sunview has over the PBR is that the baht bus passes right outside. Generally the PBR is better but more expensive but offers some great discounts from time to Time.

From the sunview going towards soi diana on soi Buakhoa is the brand spanking new Nature View hotel with great rooms starting at B800. Despite a slow start this hotel is now gaining in popularity and is often booked out. No doubt they will start to put they're prices up.

Yes its a bit dated but still nice and everything worked for me last year except the wifi was too slow for me from time to time. Had a Room with nice pool view from the balcony at the backside, think it was 50 Baht more.

Not many guests there in low season so only sometimes people at the pool. And a big plus for me was that you can find a shadowed place at the pool, what is impossible at the PBR`s rooftop pool.

Sunview still good value. secutity very good,rooms are basic but clean.

I stayed this otel every year about one mounth since 2006..

very clean and very good staff for me..

and big big discount for me..

24 hour securty, swimming pool with jakuzzi.

Stayed here for a week after Songkran,Still a good deal , however I left as there were a load of noisy central Asian types running amok showing no regard to other patrons.

Also the building site adjacent to this hotel was going to be a condo block, well it's now going to be a 2 storey "entertainment complex" owned by R Con. Rather suprised by this as they're other bar complex is struggling.

Anyways whilst I enjoy the nightlife of Pattaya I don't want it outside my room so this place will sadly be deleted from my list of places to stay.
