how hard is it to get accom.

i rolled into pattaya with no accomodation booked at new years and had no trouble, but i was staying up near soi 7, want to stay down near WS if possible, had a booking but when i had to add extra numbers to it, it all fell thru, so now there are 4 of us, (all arriving on different dates) with no accom. booked, arriving from the 4th to the 7th and staying for 2 weeks+ are we gonna struggle to get decent accom? will hotels ring around for you if they have no vacancy?

ive been trying to contact p72 via email, but so far no reply, ill call them later i think. i dont really wanna do the walking around looking for a hotel thing but looking like i might hafta, any suggestions or places to avoid?

I'm sure you will have no problems getting in somewhere it might not be your first choice but you will defiantly find somewhere to stay. Why don't you jump on Agoda now there prices are almost always better than the walk in rate.

Check out The Vault hotel. Great place, Girl friendly big rooms, 5 minute walk to Walking Street. The owner is Mike. I am sure he will help you out on rooms.

I never book a room, so on New Years weekend in 2009 I arrived Pattaya at 12:00AM without a reservation and headed to Soi Buakhao area. I must have checked about 15 different places, nothing. Headed over to Jomtiem, checked about five more places, nothing. I just gave up and went to Walking Street and partied until morning. Finally found a room on Soi 3 at around 11AM, one that caters to Russians. Lesson learn, book something during very busy times, up to you. Another alternative, call an old Teelak and stay in her room.
