Driving from Pattaya to Koh Phangan

I am trvelling to LOS once again at the end of May for 3 weeks I am travelling down to Koh Phangan for a few days to meet up with

friends who are coming over from Oz for a holiday. I don't want to do it in 1 day maybe take 2 or 3 days to drive down. Has anybody

done this drive and is there any nice spots to stop off on the way?

Cha-Am and Hua Hin are on the way and are nice places, the only other place I know is Koh Samui but I don't think the ferry between Koh Samui and Koh Phangan takes cars so you'd have to go back to the mainland before going to Koh Phangan.

Hi thanks for the reply I have looked in to stopping off at Cha Am and think I will maybe stop off at Hua Hin on the way back. Roll on May 26th.

I did about the same trip last month. You can make a stopover in cha-am, huahin or even further Baan Grood or Chomphun all depending on how fast you want to get there. I made three stops on the way there...
