It was in Burma, strength 6.7.

Chiang Rai phones are down. I live c. 180 miles from the Burmese border: cats and dogs very disturbed, my house shook for around ten seconds. Ceiling-suspended lights swinging through +/- 25 degrees from vertical. Weird disoriented dizzy and nauseous feeling while it lasted. Bangkok pal felt it in his high-rise.

Lady stopping over in my house decided she was having an attack of high blood pressure, squatted on the floor and applied Tiger Balm to her face. Nothing on Thai TV yet.

I'm in Pattaya right now and here was no earthquake today. It's business as usual. I have checked the homepage of the 'Bangkok Post'

and they don't state anything about a quake in Thailand or Burma until now. Checked Thai TV and they broadcast only the usual drama

episodes.
