A column of pickups with soldiers some in beige uniforms some in camo gear, some carrying M16 rifles, snailing through Walking Street. Lots of cops on foot as well. Seeing the rifles we made the opposite way. Anyone know what was going on? Heard some rumors of some gogo bars being busted... but rifles????

I heard rumours of a drugs bust and noticed that a couple of places were closed. Apparently ibar was shut.

There were lots of raids on Weds night. Alcatraz had been tipped off and sent the youngsters and druggies home early (as told to me by the Mamasan!).
