Cheltenham Festival

It's almost that time of year when National Hunt racing reaches its peak with the 4 days of Cheltenham commencing on Tuesday, to be followed in a few weeks by the 3 days at Aintree. Not everyone's cup of tea, but the Sport of Kings does have a large following in the UK and Ireland. Sadly, very few bars in Pattaya cater for the racing fraternity, but for those interested it may be worth letting you know of two bars likely to be showing the racing live.

I understand that the Sportsman Bar on Soi 7 and Rabbi's Elephant Bar on Soi Buakhao (close to the Butchers Arms) will be tuned in. I shall probably be resident in the latter as Rabbi has supplies of Beer Lao Dark on hand.

When a man is tired of Pattaya, he is tired of life.
