Is modafinil legal in Thailand

From what I've read the legality of modafinil in Thailand is a bit of a grey area (unclassified substance). You can't buy it here, and I'm not sure I'd want to test the waters so to speak and import it. Google cannot help me to determine if it's available in any Asian country, I keep getting spam webpages as results.

 

So does anyone know if it can be purchased anywhere in Asia - Philipppines, Cambodia, China?? It also goes by the name Provigil and Modalert.
