A south Pattaya Pharmacy has been shut down following accusations it is selling unlicensed sex enhancement drugs as well as anabolic steroids. An undercover operation was organized at the Jatuporn Pharmacy on Friday by Officers from Chonburi Provincial Police who were armed with 2,000 Baht in marked notes and purchased some of the prohibited items. Officers then entered the shop and detained Khun Chawee aged 44, the owner of the Pharmacy, who was taken to Pattaya Police Station and charged with selling controlled drugs without the appropriate license.

I hope this isn't going to be a habbit, closing down ed-pharmacies, as it will get harder and more expensive to get it if they keep harassing the pharmacies!

A good girl gives you happiness and a bad girl gives you experience both are essential in life so enjoy every girlfriend!

When they're serious about this they can probably close down 75% of the pharmacies .

Last sentence is more likely ......

"and charged with selling controlled drugs without paying of the local maffia"

Obviously forgot to pay his tea money.

Sign above the door says C.P Pharmacy - text says Jatuporn Pharmacy, so which is it to be chaps?

Be scene and not herd.

The chances are he is probably the only pharmacy that hasn't given the police/mayor a cut of the action & is being made an example off.

By the way the jet ski maffia discussed here lately is now operating from Koh larn main beach .

Last month i watched front row how some Russians and Indian where handing over something between

5000/10.000 baht each after a lot of intimidation .

Unbelievable that this still is going on while every local Thai knows who they are .

Mr Kumplone , if you really want Pattaya to become a family destination , start here !

Since when is Viagra illegal ??

I've never seen a pharmacy that DIDN'T sell it.

After hearing these crazy stories, and the fact that I was threatened with monkey house because I had the audacity to tell the BIB I didn't want to pay their requested bribe last year (we settled for half the original "request" or 2k baht) I am not sure I will return as planned for later this year. There are cute ho's all over the world....it's time to try S America.

Is this the place next to Tims?

I'd say it was due to the steroids moreso than the Viagra....and perhaps lack of tea money as mentioned.

Also, I'd be surprised if they were openly selling roids and the like to a Thai, so I wonder if they used a Western operative as they have done in the past with the bars and go-go's?

Sounds like he was not a licensed pharmacist.

The mayor of Pattaya, Itthipol Kunplome, used to have an account on Facebook where questions about those scams where asked, but it seems to have disappeared.

Please could someone reply to big dan, as I was also told that the pharmacy next to Tims is the most reliable. Gonna be in patta in 10 days.

I walked past Tim's pharmacy today and it appeared to be business as usual

This is an old article. And to clarify, it was not the pharmacy next to Tims.

I never had any problems buying my stuff in most private Pharmacies in Pattaya, but a few weeks ago out on a GoGo round I

accidentely dropped my 1/2 pill of V-Booster on my way to pick up a regular!

Since I was near the Arabic quarters in South Pattaya at the time I thought no problems I just go and buy a new one, but to my big surprise none of the Pharmacies in the are wanted to sell me a pill of V without me showing a doctor's presciption!?

I tried maybe 6-7 Pharmacies but in vain, instead I walked to my usual dealers between the Beach Rd/Second Rd crossing and Bamboo Bar and bought one without any problems at all!

Not sure where the Pharmacy in this story is situated but if it was in the Arabic quarter that maybe explains why no Pharmacies wanted/dared to sell me any ED pills to me in that area, maybe they thought I was an undercover farangcop!?
