There is a great Thai, all you can eat buffet called The Fish on 1 Soi Pattayasaisong just off Second Road between the Big C and Dolphin Island,

It is one of these cook your own places, Thai girls love it. Huge choice, mostly Thai, but with increasing pre-cooked extras (chips, steaks, etc.) to keep us Falang happy,

Think it was about 180 baht each payable at the little wooden kiosk as you go in. Drinks are extra and ordered and paid for at the table.

Fun meals!

Friday night seafood buffet at Montien Hotel. About 700++ last time I ate there, doesn't include drinks. Has many seafood selections, including rock lobster. Less expensive buffets on other nights are good too.

Sunday Brunch at Casa Pascal on 2nd road, also have many good seafood selections, includes one glass of champange, cost is also about 700++

Saturday & Sunday Afternoons at the Beefeater: Make your own tacos, also have chicken and ribs, for 250. Great value.

Buffets at the Lek and Apex suck IMHO.

ON the Hilton Hotel lunch post,I wonder if you have to dress up as such.

Would they let you enter with a singlet, shorts and scuffs/sandals on ?

I will try the Thai fish place above sounds good.

I forgot Shenanigans at Jomtien, doesnt it have a carvery/baked dinner on a Sunday night ?

Cherry restaurant on saturdays. across from excite disco. Good farang food.

Posted

I think Cherry's does a buffet on Wednesdays too at 300 baht. Very popular (if it's still going on).

Poseiden is excellent value. Hilton is pretty good. Montien has two other buffets, Wednesday and Saturday, each one a bit cheaper than the seafood one. They provide free glasses of water (or used to last I was there). Beefeater's is one of the best values in Pattaya for their buffet.

Cherry's does seem to be popular.

Is there a open thread on "Beefeaters" somewhere on here or could you give more info, location etc.

thanks

the one i like not mentioned here is shabushi in central festival mall. 300b they have sushi and tempura and those little revolving tracks with raw stuff you boil at your table. if you like shabu shabu and sushi i highly recommend this place, i go a couple times a week. theres also a steak buffet called all seasons a few doors down, but i thought it was terrible, around 300b also i think. try that one if you like small fatty steaks

I have been to The Fish a couple of times and as stated you can cook your own but you dont really need to as they have an enormous choice of cooked or cooked to order food available.

I paid 165B entry (maybe 4B discount)but as shown on the sign on the previous post photos its 169B person and they have:

Starters: Ribs/Chicken legs/Chips

Large BBQ area with Salted Fish/King Prawn/King Mussels/Cockles/Langostines

Steak bar: Pok loin/ Chicken breast/Fish steaks with hot Mushroom/BBQ/Chilli sauces (cooked to order)

Salad bar: 20 different salad items Lettuce/Tomato/Onion/Cucumber/Mushrooms/Beans/Carrot/Cabbage etc with sauces

Thai Hot plate: 5-6 different Chicken/Pork/Fish/Clams dishes Curry/SweetnSour/Oyster/Tamarind etc

Thai bar with various Thai vegetables/rice/noodles

Cold Meat/Fish bar: Chicken/Pork/Prawns/Squid/Fish Fillets/

Fresh Fruit bar: 10-15 Fresh fruits inc Watermelon/Papaya/Mango/Pineapple/Banana

Hot sweet bar: 2-3 dishes inc Mango+Sticky rice/steamed dishes

Cold sweet bar: 5-6 Thai sweets inc Jelly/ Ice cream Vanilla/Strawberry/Chocolate

Cold drinks bar: 10-20 types of Sweetened Water with Fruit concentrate drinks

Hot drinks: Coffee

There are other options available but I cant remember all of them. You can go back time and time again so long as you dont leave lots over as there is a charge to stop this!

As mentioned above there are Hot and Cold drinks available but you pay for any Beer soft drinks ordered from the Waitress.

The best I found was on 3rd road.

Called Ninja food....it's a very popular Thai BBQ place.

149 Baht for all you can eat.

If you want proper seafood then it's 300 I think.
