with the low prices of hotels and guesthouses , especially in smaller cities I cant see why you would want the hassle of an RV ?

 

never seen caravans manufactured anywhere in asia except Korea

one problem could be, it would be really hot to sleep in a motorhome, but you would need to run the engine all night to power the aircon?

That's where I was, though they cope somehow around the Med in summer.

 

The cost of hotels here must also be a factor.

 

Caravans are out because Thais wouldn't be able to reverse them.

They stack stuff a mile high on a pickup, but you don't see many tow hitches or trailers.
