Where can I buy pecking duck with the pan cakes and hoisin sauce in Pattaya for a good price?? Any ideas????

I have edited the title to read 'Peking duck'.

If it really is a pecking duck that you are after then I would recommend going down to your local farm and making one angry!

I don't know *any* Peking duck places. I know a few good bbq duck places (bped yang).

In case, anyone is still looking for Peking Duck, the rooftop restaurant on the Melia hotel, 2nd Road, has this deal until the end of the month.

I would just wait for a trip to BKK if I wanted a really good Peking duck. BKK would be one of the best places in Asia for that in my opinion.

Chinese restaurant on top floor terminal 21. Affordable and decent

Just in case those curious about the way to eat Peking Duck. The piece de resistance is not the meat but the crispy roast duck skin. Always in a wrap, skin or meat dipped in oyster sauce, with sliced onions and cucumber.

You can ask for more wraps if you run out of it.

Some restaurant require advanced orders for Peking Duck and they will be the good one.

There are also the cheaper and still good Crispy aromatic duck that is on the menu and you eat it the same way.

Enjoy.

Any specific suggestions in Bangkok?  It's a staple for trips to NYC with one of my friends.

i think you *are* underestimating in that you're not looking at prevalence among hookers, swingers, etc in the US.

also, let's see the "much higher" numbers for "sex workers and around touristic areas" i haven't been able to find any studies specific to these demographics for Thailand. I'd like to see some numbers for, say, crack hos in NYC or swingers in London too if you have 'em.

you're American, or just live there? just curious, your diction is interesting.

Well, if you want the best of the best - Fei Ya, located in the Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong hotel. It isn't cheap, relatively to Thailand (the Pecking duck cost about 2000 baht), but definitely cheaper than NYC, and the taste and texture are to die for! Trust me, you won't regret it.

If you want something a bit cheaper, yet very good, go to the The Mulberry Chinese Cuisine, located in the Berkeley hotel Pratunam. The price there is about 1400 baht.

Let me know how it was, if you tried any of these. Both are excellent.
