Happiness Guesthouse Pattaya

Hi All,

 

 

Just started my virgin trip to Pattaya and must admit it has been a little scary to find my way around this amazing place. I stayed with John & Toy for my first couple of nights at Happiness Guesthouse on Soi 3 and I wanted to mention it as they have been absolutely fantastic. The room was basic but spotlessly clean and comfortable (Toy John's TGF does all the cleaning). Not only did they make me incredibly welcome when I told them it was my first visit, John insisted on taking time out to show me round this great place!

 

How many people can honestly say that they have booked a hotel and the owner has taken them out for several beers and showed them the lie of the land? If your new to Thailand or Pattaya stay with John & Toy you couldn't be in better hands. I am renting a scooter (which they are arranging for me) and Toy is going to act as my Tour Guide to show me the sights in the area later this week.

 

 

Guys it may not be the Hilton but if you want some genuinely caring and friendly people who will see you right and make sure you don't get ripped off Happiness Guesthouse is the way to go! I have already booked my second trip for later this year.

John & Toy thanks again you really kickstarted this trip for me and have given me so much peace of mind which is priceless; i will be telling all my friends who are planning a trip to get in touch with you.

Hope you're having a great trip. Just be careful riding around Patts on a scooter. I'm sure you'll see plenty of TG's legs, but if you look closer, many have scars on them from motobike accidents. It's not the same as UK.

 

I think it is superb that John and Toy are looking after you so well. They must take a lot of credit for that.

 

I'll make a note of their guesthouse for future trips.

Duly noted the traffic here is a little mad (I have nearly been run over twice) guess its the lack of pavements!

Hiya Mate nope they aren't on the website your not going mad! Drop John a message and he will get back to you with prices and availability for your stay. I will leave it between you to sort things out; but what I will say is that you will be pleasantly surprised.

Hi guys,

 

First of all, a big thank you to Alex (essexlad) for his kind words, we will see more of each other while you are here, and I think Toy is already making a list of sights she will take you too see. I know they will be different to the ones Im have shown you so far but you will definitly be able to take some photos you can show back home.

 

Guys looking for prices on our web site - yeah that is a mistake I made last year when I had the site designed I should of had them added. I am in the process of updating our site at the moment and they will be included when this is done.

The location is good if you do what I did. Tripped on the gutter coming out of the Welkom Inn and smashed a beer bottle into my hand hand ended up in Pattaya International Hospital. There are some good bars in this area. Plus Drinking Street is close by and so is Soi 6. Excellent baht bus service. To be honest getting a scooter is asking for trouble. If I had a travel insurance business i would refuse coverage to anyone who rode a motorbike in asia.

Daily rates:- High season (November to March) 550 - 750 THB/night

Low season (April to October) 450 - 650 THB/night

 

Weekly rates:- High season (November to March) 3,600 - 5,000 THB/week

Low season (April to October) 3,000 - 4,400 THB/week

 

Monthly rates:- High season (November to March) 10,000 - 13,000 THB/month

Low season (April to October) 8,000 - 11,000 THB/month
