Has anyone successfully used Skype with a smart phone in Thailand?

I did....no problems at all,very good quality of calls

Did you get the iPhone (I am assuming that you have an iPhone) there or did you bring it with you?

I have Android OS based HTC Evo...I just downloaded Skype app and whenever I have access to WiFi I could use Skype. And I brought mine phone from states.

Works on my iphone. But the bluetooth headset does not work when Skype is running. That's annoying.

I used my HTC Desire, worked great.
