Sandy springs

I've only been to patts once but am looking to go again. I last stayed at sandy springs on soi 13, was nice, good location, with no extra charge for BF.

 

Though I havnt seen it mentioned much on here and am wondering how it compares to other hotels for location and comfort etc

I have never stayed there myself but I personally like the Pattaya Bay Resort or Residence Garden. No Joiner Fees, great staff, and most important for me. Safe in the room.

I've stayed there a few times and I love the location and the beds are comfortable. No in-room safe is a bit of a pain and the pool is small.

 

As I tend to go over Xmas/NY I go elsewhere as they put their prices up by 500 baht per day.

 

I think there's better value around town and especially on Soi Bukhaow.

soi 13 is the best location, not the best but a good hotel.

I have stayed at the dynasty for the last couple of visits mainly because i like soi 13 its about the same

level as the SS but they have in-room safes.

They are not very exiting but they both do the job ok.

I visit in June so I am thinking of upgrading to page10 or fraser resort, location is important for me,

maybe slum it for a few days and then splash some cash for a few days around my 60th birthday thats

why I am coming in june.A couple of nights in the Marriot?

Think about what is important for you

location, soi 13 is great

more than 1 girl in your room at a time then Pattaya Bay Resort.

luxury then maybe not SS or soi 13

lounging around the pool then Areca lodge but not if you take more than one girl back

If like me you come in low season there should be no shortage of choice.

i have booked the new deluxe room at sandy springs from 18th march onwards!!!! and yes..they now have an in room safe in the new deluxe rooms!!!! i hope they dont charge if i get 2 girls in my room at the same time!!!!! and this being my first trip to patts, i hope i have made the right choice too!!!!

I did a review of it a few weeks ago. Such an interesting review not 1 comment on it !

 

I think like you I mentioned it never gets a mention on here.

 

I think it never gets mentioned as there is never any issue with it which I guess is a good thing.

 

It provides what it says it will. I think the location is good, central but quiet.

 

I found the behind reception safe system to be fine. To be honest I've never had much faith in room safes, I doubt the ones used in Pattaya hotels would defeat a knowledgeable thief and there is the chance of someone on the staff having access.
