first time in pattaya

Hi thinking of visiting Pattaya for the first time,been to Phuket twice but now want to visit other area of Thailand,What can I expect there as far as a good time ,bars ,girls,weather ,is it different compared to Patong Beach,ST LT prices

Bangla Road in Phuket, been there? Make Bangla into a town, that's Pattaya. The place runs pretty much around the bar scene, thus many bars and GoGo's of all shapes and sizes, same for restaurants, big spread of accommodation choices for all budgets. Describing the bar scene is too hard - what do you want to find, you'll find it!

 

Weather? TIT, it's hot and sticky and can get the same sudden downpours as Phuket.

 

Prices for ST/LT are said to be lower then Bangla but I have no recent experience of Bangla so can't comment. ST from 1,000 THB (including barfine) and upwards depending on where/who you trying to score, LT1,300 and up.

 

 

It's busy, it's dirty, full of hustle and hassle, and it's heaven. All I can say is, try it, you can always leave if you don't like the place.

Pattaya is better than Patong in every aspect except the beach .. but Koh Larn is so easy to get to it's not an issue.

 

The tailors aren't as pushy here either.
