What is the best way to get to Pattaya late night?

I usually travel from the US so most flights get in around midnight. This is too late for any bus service so I usually just take a taxi. But I never know if I am paying a fair price or not. Sometimes the hotel I book will offer pick up service, but that seems expensive. I have noticed that leaving Pattaya at a normal time during the day, I can arrange a taxi for about half the price as a taxi from the airport late night. I don't mind paying a reasonable price for a taxi, but I don't know what a reasonable price is. I would like to be able to arrange pick up in advance, have some cold beverages for the ride (ok with me to stop and buy at mini mart). Any suggestions?

We arrange meet and greet pick ups for our guests, and can e-mail you the booking confirmation with all details including contact names and numbers before you fly.
