Hi,

I have flown with different airline companies to Thailand including Turkish Airlines. I can say that currently, Turkish Airlines has been trying to promote its brand by signing different sponsorship agreements with Kevin Costner, FC Barcelona, Man UTD, Kobe Bryant and Caroline Wozniaki and I know that they have purchased new 777 aircrafts to operate more overseas destinations so you may find relatively cheaper tickets compared to other operators. Recently they have been offering a new concept which is "Comfort class" you can try. I am very happy with the performance of Turkish Airlines. The planes and food are excellent. They have been already awarded as the best food in economy class. Istanbul airport is big and not boring but doesnt have any smoking room. I dont think you will have any problems with Turkish Airlines. :9of10Score:

Yeah i done that route in 2009,no problems with them,the flight from Dublin to Istanbul was ok,no in flight entertainment but its only 4 hours so bring an ipod or something,i was surprised with the Istanbul-BKK route it was great to be honest.The only downside was the return journey included a 6 hour stop in Istanbul,i would have no bother using them again,good prices from here.

I've not flown with them on your route but I've done Heathrow - Istanbul - Bangkok. The planes were pretty basic but plenty of room, I would fly with them again, no complaints.

For 3-4 hours stopover, its ok for passengers. Just one open air smoking room inside. You can kill the time at duty free maybe 1-2 hour but not more. There are business class lounge for busines class passengers and also many Banks have lounge. ( for example HSBC Bank has a lounge and u can drink, eat and use wi-fi free). Also u can use wi-fi free at arrival hall. And i think Turkish airlines has a free Istanbul tour for passengers who have too much stopover time. U can check this at the Turkish airlines web site.

i have used them from dublin .....all good, not sure about the dep time . i think its about 14 30 . i feel that etihad with a departure time about 9am arriving at 0650 in bkk gives you best value + stopover is only about 90 minutes!!!!

up to you! :GoldenSmile1::GoldenSmile1::GoldenSmile1:
