Questions about Nirun Condo

I read some good and some bad but what's the lowdown on Nirun?

Seems to be in a great location and well priced so why do people knock it?

Anyone with first hand knowledge?

I move from Phuket to Pattaya mid February and I don't need much. A small area to cook a bit and make toast, No air con or TV set needed as I have my own.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Kenny,

I stayed there for my first few months when I first moved here. I cannot commment on all of the apartments but I would say looking at the place they were all established around the same time and it will depend on the owner/agent as to their current condition. The one I rented was basic, small bathtub with shower in bath that was not a lot higher than my stomach, a double bed. a fold down settee/devan, a cooking ring and wash basin for dishes on the balcony, electric that occasionally would blow a socket (not the fuse), avg A/C (which I know you don't want) basic tv (cable, sophon extra 300thb/mth ) rundown but liveable. I used the A/C but did not abuse it as I was out every day by 10.00am and not home until midnight or after but the electric was coming in at between 1200 - 1500/mth which I was OK with but now realise it does seem high, but the one that really annoyed me was that I had to pay 300thb per month for the water meter on top of the water usage WTF!

I thought the location was OK, you can get all you want close by, there is a little community you could get involved with, thai and falang, they have two good pools (or they were). Anyway that's enough of my experience, I am sure I could go on if I thought about it enough but I wont. I will finish with this link I found not long after I moved out, I didn't mention the daily visits I had!
