As planned, my girlfriend is now pregnant, I am going to do a thread with all the costs, problems and stuff you need to do, from first check up, until getting the baby a UK passport.

 

I will be asking some questions here along the way.

I had two nights out in BKK the other day, I have unlimited brownie points! I will be having the birth in Sattahip hospital, I suspect a C section is likely, due to our different sizes! Not sure if we will have a heavy baby, I was the smallest in my family at birth.

 

The wedding is mid April, waiting for dates from chuckwow, as he is doing it on the same day, we are also trying to rope in, other victims.

Five months ago it cost 6,500 baht for the delivery and 2 nights in a private VIP room at Sattahip we were there 3 days altogether.

 

I can't fault the care and professionalism of the staff, and the facilities if anything goes wrong are first class.

 

Expect to wait a couple of hours during the regular check ups during the pregnancy though.

Edit; the 6,500 is actually 2 bills one for 5,500 for the delivery and room and one for the baby 1,000 anyhow it was 6,500 all in.

Thanks guys. We worked out the date of when its due, in an online calculator

We went to a clinic today, we managed to find a clinic that is ran by a doctor that works at Queen Surikit Hospital, which is our local hospital. Its only open 5 pm onwards and they specialise in pregnant women, my GF had a stomach scan and we seen a small black hole, too early to see much.

 

She was prescribed folic acid tablets, and she has been asked to return next month, for another scan, blood test and an injection of some sort.

 

Total bill 400 baht.

I got some baby making tips! What I learnt recently.

 

1. Wanking twice a day doesnt help

 

2. Shagging girls down Soi 6, wont get her pregnant, I realised this after 6 months.

 

3. Plan for the three day window when she can get pregnant.
