The AGODA site in the Pattaya Addicts banner at the top of the web site is a great tool for hotel prices and locations.... pick a couple out that might look OK for you price wise and ask on the board for reviews

Soi Baukoa and all around, the most up and coming area in Pattaya, some nice new hotels and guest houses in the area.

Soi Six is good some good places to stay but if its your first time in patts it mabe a bit over the top but then again you only live once
