If there were ever a case in which the blunt expression "use the search function" was warranted, this is it. There are at least 10 reviews of the place, which has to be one of the most popular on LK Metro (and maybe in Pattaya).

Mail Dennis and ask about his vacancies and you will quickly find out all you need to know! It is not easy to get in unless you book at least 2 months in advance.

I did notice that a promotion is being run for next low season though (got an email informing me of this). If you stay for 30 days or 2 people in the same party stay for 15 nights each the 2010 rate will be used.

You really can't go wrong with Metro (unless you want an elevator and a pool).

Large rooms, large fridge inc minibar, Free WIFI, Good TV & DVD, Balcony for every room, DVD's and books available to borrow, laundry service.

Very friendly staff

AC bar downstairs with about 3 large pool tables which are free for people staying there and their guests

LK Metro location (Say no more)

Never met Dennis but worked out a good deal with him via emails, seems like a great bloke

Great rates

Only downside, can be a bit noisy, but this is LK metro.

Hi,

I have stayed at The Metro Apts, at least 8 times, and found it to be one of the best places in Pattaya..The rooms are excellent, spacious, and room service is 2nd to none..The staff are as good, as you will get anywhere, very friendly, they always make you feel at home, and not in your face, they are there to help you in every way..

As for Dennis, what can i say, he is a very genuine guy, who is always there to give advice, and no bull from him..You could travel the lenght and breadth of Thailand, and you wouldn't find a nicer lad..I highly recommend staying at the Metro Apts, but you have to book early. :10of10Score:

Hi 'TehVen'

Would have to agree with most of what you said, i can honestly say i did not find it noisy at night, maybe it was the time i went to bed, or who i went to bed with.???(LOL)..A friend of mine had his 60th birthday at the Metro last year..Everything was taken care of, all he had to do was turn up on the night..He had a party of 16 travelling with him, from Ireland and the UK..The food and music were of the highest quality and very impressive, so much so that his sister who lives in the UK, is having her 60th this May in the Metro..

Fantastic place to have a party, no matter what the occassion is.

Metro Apartments is an excellent place and one of the best in Soi L.K. Metro. Not quite as nice as Armageddon but better value for money overall. When Is tayed there about a year ago I had to book several months in avance though. It's a busy place.

I make a habit of staying there everytime I visit Patts.

Why ?? Because of all of the above.

Dennis is a top bloke, just don't start drinking with him :Drink4: Lol

Dennis, his wife and excellent staff will make you feel at home instantly.

Best place I've ever stayed in Pattaya and I will continu doing so.

Only one negative, it ain't close to soi 6 :Grin3:

Hi 'alessandro'

Would have to agree with your comments about The Metro Apartments in soi LK Metro..You and i have good taste, when it comes to choosing a place like The Metro..I will be in Pattaya on the 10th May, for a 60th birthday party at the Metro Apts, if your around, drop in, you will be more than welcome. :Birthday_Cake:

One of my favourite places to stay within the mid budget range and actually for the price amazing value. Dennis is also one of the best hosts you are likely to encounter in Pattaya. A genuinely good guy.

I can also just say good things about the Metro Appartments. I stayed there for 1,5 weeks last year and really liked it. i think everything about the rooms and staff is told already. so i just want to add, the Soi LK area is very nice and good located to get everywhere fast (e.g. walking street, soi6, beachroad,...). i can recommend it and hope i can stay there again if its not fully booked again :Cry3:

Have stayed at Metro Apartments twice now and concur with all comments. Great Staff and good clean rooms. Will be booking again for later this year.

Thanks for the comments gentlemen. :001_Thank_You5: As for 'drinking' ... I slowed down a bit now! :D

Hi Dennis,

Hope you, Somkit, family, and staff are keeping well..I have to ask a question about your comment above..Since you have slowed down on the 'GARGLE' does that mean you drink less, in the same amount of time ???, or drink the same over a longer time.?????..As you know we are both familiar with each other's drinking capabilities, you being the winner on most but not all occasions. :GoldenSmile1::GiveBeer1::Drunk1::Beer1::001_Thank_You5: for all the good times and happy memories, but most of all your 'FRIENDSHIP' :Chokdee5::Beer8:

Also no joiner fee for a guest or guests. Excellent value for money.

Hi 'hagey'

The Metro Apartments has 10 bedrooms, most of them im familiar with, in so far as on my 2nd last visit there, i moved rooms 4 times, which suited me no end...I knew this when i booked with Dennis..When it was time to change rooms, i had nothing to do, everything was done by the wonderful staff at the Metro.

The chances of any particular Lady finding me in the same room, were very remote, so a change of rooms, can be very rewarding, thanks to the host Dennis. :Bravo1::Number1a: Big 60th birthday in the Metro Apts, in early May, cant wait to get back there for it. :Flying::Beer1::Congrats1::Birthday1::Drunk_Party::Beer8::HappyBDay2::BirthdayCake1:

I'm a fan of Metro Apartments, great value for money. I especially love the deluxe rooms when they are available.

Hi 'Dr.Winston O'Boogie',

Im like yourself with a preference for the deluxe rooms, but having said that, i consider myself very fortunate and lucky to get any room available, at the Metro Apartments, when i stay in Pattaya..IMHO, I think all the rooms are perfect in every way.. :Number1a::08:

Was happy with my one month stay at Metro Apartments. Comfortable bed, blackout curtains, friendly staff, great location, aircon working fine. Here are some pics from my room:

I wouldn't go back here personally. I had a cockroach crawling my face at night (no joke), only to find 4 of the lovely creatures under the mattress the following day. Needless to say, I checked out within a couple of hours.

I could have been unlucky....
