Looking for a Basketball Game

I was checking to see if there are a group of guys in Pattaya that have a regular basketball game I can join in. I am planning on spending more time in Pattaya in 2011 and I have been searching for a place where I can find consistent pick games.

 

I appreciate any help you can give where the best courts are in Pattaya.

I was playing with some thai guys a few months back

 

it was outdooors in the evening on a very hard concrete surface

 

got plenty hot and shin-splints, lasted a few weeks playing 3or 4 a side half court

 

3 or 4 times a week

 

Theres an okay court in the fairtex sports centre never seen any games going on though.

 

There will be a thai comp and they will most likely welcome you with open arms

mind, the games i played were not very physical.

So you may need to adapt your playing style a bit

I played a number of times with the Thai locals, but the games were a bit boring and not to the level I am looking for. I was hoping some Ex-pats had a weekly game I could join or if we find enough of us we can get a league going. I just do not know if there is a suitable court centrally located for everyone to meet up at.

 

I am looking to be a full time expat later this year so I wanted to get my feelers out there now to gauge the interest level.
