bee or pee = year.

mai = ?

 

You're probably already familiar with 'sawadee krap' = 'hello' or it's variants.

 

A bit of advice to get you started, choose b/p & d/t early, or you may get confused like I did.

 

Happy New Year = Sawadee bee mai.
