Well, it seem's a lot of BM's are interested in taking (and looking) at photos of sexy Thai birds .

 

I've yet to see a "pro" or "semi-pro" equipped studio in BKK and Pattaya aimed at holiday makers/amateurs.

 

What do you think you'd pay to hire a studio for a day? Hire cameras? Props? Photographic/lighting assistant etc?

 

Is this a good business idea?

i have noticed a photography studio on 3rd rd pattaya and there is also one on pattaya klang next to carrefour, and im sure there are others so u might want to look into it before investing money into a business. i know there can be good money in it though because a mate of mine paid 30,000 baht for his wedding photo's.

Personally I wouldnt want to hire a full studio at this point. What I think amateur togs would be interested in is being able to hire small studio equipment. Small strobes n soft boxes and maybe one or 2 continuous lights and stands. The kind of gear you can simply setup in a hotel/condo room.

For the expats/local that might be something they would use but I have a studio setup at home and it takes a lot of time to set it up right and that changes for every pose/angle etc. If your on holiday and shooting then you just want something quick and easy. Theres other activities to be had and of course if your on a ST/LT scenario then you dont want your "date" getting bored.
