How comprehensive is your insurance policy?

Do you rent by the week? Do you need a Valid Thai license? Can you travel through out Thailand to places such as Kohn Chang, Bangkok and Phuket? I'm told when I rent a crouch rocket, I'm not allowed to leave Pattaya, is this different for car rentals? Do you have GPS in English available?
