tee luk = loved one (in the way Americans would address their loved ones as "honey")

 

sod - could mean "fresh" (as in nam som sot(d)- fresh orange juice) However, "sod" is an adjective and should follow the noun "tee luk".

 

Just a guess. Without a Thai spelling can only guess at the transliteration of "sod."

It think it means "My Dear"

Sod = My ( pronounced sud)

Tee luk = Dear or honey or darling

I think it is ''Soot Teerak'' (สุดที่รัก in thai) basically means ''My Darling'' thai's use the word soot as a superlative before a word

 

 

 

like we use ''est'' at the end of a word like greatest , largest , smallest

The word is Teerak. I have a TG who emails me and uses that when she begins the email "Hi Teerak"

and yes it means Honey, Darling etc.
