Advice for a good hotel in march/april

Ok i went to Pattaya in April i stayed in the Green Park Hotel really good pool but to far from the action. I am planning to go in mid march (March 15/16 to April 3/4

and want a hotel in central/ south pattaya.I do not want to book a hotel through the travel agency as they have a limited choice

 

Criteria

 

1)Price -1600 baht or lower per night

2)Swimming pool

3)No joiner fee

4)Prefer it to have gym/exercise room

5)TV lots of channels

6)Good Air con

7)Good for single guys

 

Now i know lots of hotels cover this criteria in Pattaya but i would really apreciate reccoimendations from furum members. Also i don't have a credit card but

i do have a mastercard debit on my efpos/bankcard but i have never done any payment over the internet and my last trip the travel agent booked the hotel for me.

I am a bit nervous over paying for anything over the internet and do not know how most hotels in Pattaya do this whether you put a diposit or what?

Any advice would be welcome as i don't have a clue . The Pattaya Bay Hotel looks good but do you need a credit card or a deposit?

I'm so ditrustful of internet banking or any payment over the net probably paranoid!
