Devil's Den Advance Bookings

 

There is a small change being made to our Booking process gentleman. Historically, the Devil's Den has accepted provisional bookings as much as 8 months in advance- with 3 months being common. The issue with this is that few 20 year old girls know what their family obligations will be in a half year, so some of our girls would be fully booked months in advance and inevitably we would have to cancel bookings so they could take days off to visit family etc.

 

Starting today, Devil's Den will be increasing the numbers of days off a month each lady has available to use. I'm happy that the business has been successful enough that we can do this and offer them more down time than any bar, gogo or soapy in Pattaya does. I'm sure anyone who has visited us will agree they are wonderful, hard working ladies and it is well deserved. They will let us know their days off, one month in advance- which now means we can offer provisional bookings no more than one month in advance.

 

I hope everyone understands that this is about giving everyone better service in the end, and rewarding the ladies for all they do.

 

Of course, as always, we will do our best to honor all advance bookings that have already been made and please keep in mind that all bookings are subject to change in the case of family emergency, illness, etc.

Having met you that day and being aware of your surgery and that you were handling it I have no issues over the time frame and really there is no rush. Please take the time you need.

I truly hope you dont think I was having a go, In fact the polar opposite. I think its a stellar thing you are doing and applaud the way you run your establishment and how much care you take of your ladies. Im sure there are many owners in LOS that could take a leaf from your book and how much it would benefit their ladies. I do believe that how they are treated by their boss reflects how we are treated in return.

I am looking forward to visiting with you on my next adventure for my first Songkran and in fact hope that I can continue from where I left of.

Glad to see that you keep raising the bar for employee benefits in your industry.

All companies claim that their employees are their most important asset - I think we can all agree that this is even more true for your company.

 

The ladies clearly have a demanding job so the ability to take some time off once in a while to relax with friends and family is very important. I have no doubt you will find that the vast majority of your clients will applaud your efforts to treat "our" ladies even better.

 

On a more practical note, may I suggest you consider noting planned absence on the ladies profile.

I am actually amazed that you were taking booking up to 8 months in advance to begin with, must have caused a few headaches, as there are times the girls have to take time off for certain reasons at short notice, or simply need to spend time elsewhere.

 

I have heard many good reports of your establishment, yet to visit, but never say never.... it could happen.

Annual holiday dates will be added to profiles as and when they become available. I doubt that the girls will get around to informing us of those till after the new year though.

I am very much looking forward to visiting your establishment the next time I am over, and thank you for explaining the booking system means I can book in plenty of time.

 

I am very impressed with your management style and how you understand the value of the girls who after all are your product, I should mention I work in hospitality in a senior management position and I cannot believe that you used to try and work 8 months in the future. Believe me I understand how much effort trying to juggle stuff that like takes and I am slightly in awe to be honest. It makes a refreshing change in any industry to have an owner/manager who actually makes you feel valued and I suspect perticularly so in the girls line of work, you have my respect and admiration.

We do not receive information regards closure till the day before. Having said that, in the past 3 years we have always opened from 1 pm till 6pm (No alcohol served in the bar), and honored all out-calls and over-nights. I suspect that will be the case next year.

I would like to add my name to the list of guys that applaud your actions and business policies. True true, that if management gives employees 10% they will usually respond with 20% or more effort.

 

Because of the "girl communication network", I would be very surprised if you did not have many, many ladies wanting employment at your establishment. It appears that you choose the very best.
