Tips on Hiring a Driver for Pattaya area

I am staying in Pattaya for about 2 weeks next month and I wanted to know how to go about hiring a driver when I need to be driven around for a few hours.

I have used the local taxis in front of The Avenue Plaza on 2nd road in the past, but they charge 200baht per way no matter the destination. So I was thinking if I give all by business to one driver that I can get a better deal for my stay.

 

When I finally move to Pattaya full time in 2012 I am also looking to hire a driver part time to be able to be on call when I need his services (3-4 days a week). Does anyone know of how to find such a service and what is costs per month?

Probably best to have a girl with you most the time you use taxis to negotiate better prices etc
