Baron Beach Pattaya beach road soi 10

Just want to post that i arrived in Baron Beach (PATTAYA SOI 9) 3.30 am, and booked a pool room it´s 3600 thb if i remember right. I didnt know when i would check out again as i was forced to stay because off the vulcano on iceland. This i told them and they charged me 1 night telling me that i could tell them more when wake up.

 

I got to my room at 4 am and went for a shower sleeping about 4.30. At 11 am my room phone called and it was the reception asking if i would check out or stay one more night. I told the lady that i would be staying one more night as i did not talk to china airlines yet. She told me okay and i just needed to come down and pay one more night. Okay i will come down as soon as i wake up i told her. She then told me i had to gome down before 11.45 am as i had to pay before normal check out!

I wasent sure i heard right and asked her if she just told me to come down and pay or i would be kicked out? You know i checked in at allmoste 4 am i asked her? She said yes and she would have 2 know if i would be staying one more night. I told her that, if i could not waite to come down and pay until i woke up i would be checking out? She said allright. I packed my stuff fast and went down to the reception pretty angry and told them if this is the way you treat guest who just payed 3600 thb to sleep 6 hours. i would never come back. But they didnt say they were sorry about it so i went away.

 

This i post here to tell you that you should never stay there!

3600 is certainly the high rent district. That is enough to avoid this place. It seems to me that if they had your credit card, that should have been sufficient not to require you to make the extra trip down stairs.

I stayed there before..I paid about 1600 a night, it was OK..it seems to be a muslim hotspot though, I don't have too much against them but I had to keep showing them how to use the forks at the buffet, they keep using their hands. However, it was kind of ironic though it was named an American Buffet..lol..

Yeah the std. rooms are 1600 and the poolacces rooms are 3600 in high season. Well i will never go there again. You are right about the Muslim thing.
