hotel soi 8

Has anyone stayed in eastiny inn soi 8 as i have booked there normally i stayed in appartment but this trip i went for hotel maybe i should have asked this before booking but to late for that, so any info on this place, i know it going to be loud there, but appart from that i know nothing about it. any info good or bad will be greatfully recieved, thanks

this its the oldest of the eastinies, but all of them are good hotels. pool is a little small at the inn. great location for the beach and baht bus to Walking Street... you cant really go wrong with any of the eastines its just a choice of price/quality of room.

Why don't you book just for two nights, and check the quality. If good, just ask to stay longer.

Except from dec to january, there are always rooms available in hotels.

I would never take the risk to book a room for the full period, even in the best hotel, as I know I will always get the only room that has a bad aircon or whatever.

 

It is so easy to go to reception and say : "I check out tomorow, but if you've got a good room, i would be happy to stay a week more..." and then ask to check the new room before booking. You would be very surprised sometimes the different qualities they can show for the same prices.

I stayed at one of the Eastiny hotels down near Beach Rd Soi 8 I believe--right across from Silver Star 1. They charge you extra if bringing back 2 ladies if that matters to you.

I guess you need to be careful which room you get as the street facing ones are likely to be very noisy.

The only place on Soi 8 for me is the Sunshine hotel. I've stayed there probably 10 times and would not look further.

Well Ive stayed At the Sunshine,Eastiny Plaza, and the Flipper. I think the Eastiny Plaza is by far the best!! never stay at eastiny Inn. But if your going to be there New Years night,I would pick the Flipper hotel,because its closer to the Beach and ya can go on the roof where the pool is to check out the Fire Works.All three are 1 girl Friendly

Is my 1st time in patts but been samui and Patong nad bkk before so know score

 

heard they are ok with you bringing peps back, but maybe not so ok if its more than 1

 

Looked a nice hotel

Flipper House was great and two nice pools on the roof

 

Eastiny Plaza by far the best.

Big buffet breakfast included,

can be for 2 ( your gf ) if you

request it when checking in.

 

Service good, newer rooms, in-room safe,

pool.

 

Hope you don't need too much sleep,

because the noise from the bars below is LOUD!
