even bali is getting them

i like meeting people from other countries but russian are down and out bloody rude

I went for a walk down the bottom end of Walking Street tosay. There are more bars and clubs open down that end now. No doubt they are aimed at the Russians. It looks like a sizable entertainment centre is under construction.

the russians wont come and socalize at night like we do.they are russian and do not like us.they do not see us as equalls.i had for many yrs been into ukraine girls and russian girl before i woke up and found LOS.why do you think they always book hotels together and the bars are only russians in there but we drink in aussie,english,yank what the ever we end up.in all the bars and gogos i went to ove dec/jan 10/11 i iseen every race in them except for russians.

 

i am not saying i dont liek russians,well one fucker as he knocked my bike over i had to pay.but dont expect them to asimulate like us.

Some say they are rude, but I think there is a culture difference and not many speak English. Plenty in Phuket, and even a few Russian bars etc. We tend to stick to the Thai bars, much more fun!

 

 

I think you have the answer here. They are less likely to speak the 2nd language, much less the first and only seem less friendly. I have lived in several foreign countries where I didn't know the language and was told that I seemed standoffish as well. I was just oblivious to what was going on and could not understand and participate in the conversations. Once I got to know people and get past that, I made some good friends.

 

I have found that most people are very nice everywhere and everywhere has a few jerks as well. The next time you run into a Russian, buy them a beer and try and make them feel welcome, they may not be that bad after all.

Those russian girls are very georgous. So much hotter than the dark thais. those are great hopes of yours. And worth every penny . They probably only go with young white men in pattaya.

not my piece of cake, but if yours then why you come here ?? they are more expensive here , better fly east Europe cheaper flight and cheaper price overthere because they are more there than here, or do you think they do not calculate the costs for coming pattaya in their price.....?????????? or do you think they do not come organidsed by.........?

The russian girl at the door offered me a show and free beer...but inside the beer was flat and there was no show. So I figured I had blown my 10 quid. When I tried to leave they demanded 50 pound for a hostess fee because I talked to a bar maid for 30 seconds.

 

Fortunately i am over 120kg so even the two big Russian lads blocking the stair weren't going top stop me leaving but I can see how many guys would be intimidated. The cops outside the club simple aid they knew about this type of thing and I was lucky because they usually get about 300 pound out of tourists. WOW I feel safe in Pattaya but not in London. Lets hope the Russians don't bring this kind of to GoGo bars in Pattaya. (not all Russians are bad but the bad ones are very bad)

A Russian couple that I know recently spent a week in Pattaya on a package tour. The price for flights, transfers and accomodation was 50 000 Baht. That is pretty damn cheap! Funnily enough this couple do not like to mix with other Russians.

 

When I arrived last week the waiting area at immigration was packed with Russians.

That same thing happened to me too. I had a mate over from Spain and he wanted to go to one of those soho strip joints. I had never been in myself so wasn't aware it was a clip joint. One of the heavies tried to frog march us to a cash point but as soon as we got outside we pegged it.
