How to Buy a motorbike in Thailand

Hi all addicts.

I was searching for "How to" so that one not get ripped of when buying.

Could not find anything in the forum.

 

I have plans for buying me a motorbike but do not know all the necessary documents needed, about insurance, transfer fees etc.

I know that I can hire a thai person to help me, but the idea is to make it my self, like to be a little bit more independent a n other person.

 

So my questions for you guys, what does one need to think about when buying.

 

I appreciate all answers and if you can publish photos of document it is perfect.

First of all work out what you want to buy, shop around a little and see what different shops want for the different models, then head into Mityon on the corner of Pattaya Tai and 3rd Rd, they are very professional and I feel confident you won't get bitten or "Had" in there.
