The much delayed Pattaya- Hua Hin- Pattaya starts this Friday 19th November

they say the trip is about 3hrs 15 minutes, leaving pattaya at 0830 and Hua Hin at 1300. 3 trips a week

The price on the website says 1200 baht but it does not say if that is return or not, my guess is one way---if anyone finds out please add to the thread

here is their website

hopefully it will be a good trip, may pop over in December and give a review, anyone goes before please let us know how good/bad it is

Thanks for this info!!

I am planning to go from Pattaya to Koh Tao for a diving week, and will use it at least for one way (and Lomprayah Ferries for the rest of the trip).

If no review has been made at that time, I will make one (mid-december).

1200 baht should be the one way price, since the press release says : "The one way trip fare will be 1600baht and for return 3000baht."

Wouldn`t it be as cheap and a lot quicker to fly down to Koh Samui and then get the fast ferry up to Koh Tao.

From their English press release:

The one way trip fare will be 1600baht and for return 3000baht. In November and December there will be promotions from 1200baht.

Yes, you're right (I did it several times)

(with Lomprayah Ferry, you have to stay one night in Samui, though (first plane arrives at 12:10, last ferry leaves at 12:30)

But I want to change a little, see other things, and spend one or two nights in Hua-Hin. And from Hua Hin to Pattaya, you can save half-a-day of journey this way (instead of going by bus up to Bangkok).

I'm thinking about trying this. I'm going to Cambodia tomorrow for a week but when I get back I might want to go to Hua Hin. I can't decide if I want to stay here for 2 weeks when I get back or break it up with a trip to Hua Hin or Koh Chang or something like that.
