Best Places for Live Music?

I'm looking for bars/restaurants with live bands. A nice place to take a long time TG that you like and to listen to some fine tunes. Classic rock and jazz would be my favorites but anything is fine (hip-hop, not so much) I'll Arrive Dec 5 and stay for about 10 days.

Blues Factory off Walking Street. Great place for an hour or three.

For rock music ?? Better Hot Tuna, Rolling Stone Bar or Utopia further down Walking Street.

I always enjoy Sam and Mia plays in Cosy Beach hotel. Of course her voice not so strong... But music is nice, acoustic set of old evergreens from 50s-70s... Not as loud as electric bands. Good place for relaxing.

Wonder what happened to the popular band that played at the Climax bar. They should be about somewhere...They played great rock music.

Wonder what happened to the popular band that played at the Climax bar. They should be about somewhere...They played great rock music.

They moved to DJ bar soi 8 and then on to play in Utopia.

A 8 months or so Man the bassplayer left the band and was replaced and they added a keyboardist to the ensemble. Man is now musical director at Blu Sky III on WS opposite Galaxy, his new band plays of Iron Maiden incl. Fear of the dark so it's well worth a visit!
