wow... what a great new find...

ok, i just got home from an 11 night stay at page 10 hotel and this place is awesome...

prices..

i went around pricing rooms at a few places first before i booked here. but, before i even went there it was high on the list of places i wanted.. my budget was 1500 a night..

they started at like 1600 for a standard room and like 1900 for a deluxe.. i talked them down to 1400 a night for 11 night including breakfast for the 11 nights.. one room for me and one room for my friend who i traveled with..

plus right now they have promotions that are always changing.. another note to know is that i booked from october 27 until november 7th so the last week fell into the high season prices.. making it a good deal all around..

hotel and location..

soi 10 and about 30 yards from second road.. location a 10.

brand new hotel. spotlessly clean and very modern and contemporary looking. it had a nice warm feel to it and i guess you could say boutique type look but im not a 100% sure what a true boutique looking place would be.. lets just call it super trendy and modern.

free wifi, the pool was a little small but deep.. it was a long pool but narrow and not many lounge chairs. but it had a nice bar with GREAT service... you cold order food or whatever and plenty of towels.. and the treated all guests as equals..

guests..

originally they said "girlfriend" is free with booking and 300 baht for extra guest. but when i came back with more then one guest they never charged me. but i brought them back late at night and they left early.

all of the staff were EXTREMELY friendly and polite and very helpful.. everyone of them were great people.. and all of the ladies at the reception were hot.. all of them..

standard room..

the room was insane, best room i had in years.. and in thailand.. the bathroom was huge with a separate tub and a full size stand up shower with a great rain nozzle with super hot water and great pressure. marble everything. bathrobes, slippers and free tooth brush and amenities. (replaced daily) standard fridge with drinks and snacks.. decently priced..

full size lap top fitting safe.. easy to use and like everything else brand new..

great wifi, brand new lcd flat screen tv with normal hotel channels. the best was the huge bed.. brand new sheets, blankets the works..

best feature for me was that instead of the usual thai style 10 light switches scattered across the room it had a control board next to the bed. it controlled the lights, air con (which worked great) the do no disturb and make up room buttons. really cool.

the door had a tap the card against the lock to open thing which beat the insert and wait a second slot.. really modern and cutting edge..

guests..

they originally told me "girlfriend" included.. obviously.. but they said 300 baht for the extra guest.. but i brought back a few girls and never got charged for them. i brought them in late at night and they usually left early in the morning. so the night guy was my friend..

overview..

this place is a great new find for the 1500 baht a night place..

great service

great location

the breakfast was ok. nothing fancy.

i give it a 10 out of 10..

any questions let me know and if a moderator can resize the photos i would appreciate it..

Yeah its looks really nice...but that 300b girl fee might bite them in the arse, especially when none of the hotels(in soi 10) don't charge for this.

i negotiate in person.. you always get a better deal when you talk to them in person and stay for more then a night or 2..

like i said there were ways around it. and that was 300 for the "extra" guest.. the first was free...

and there isnt any other good hotels on the soi.. they were building 4 new ones. the soi was completely quite. they had a few massage places with some ok looking girls and one old beat up hotel in the middle and the end of the block.. but nothing that looked appealing..

Yes i realize that its far better than Eastiny & sea view hotel, but some mongers (like myself) bring back 3-4 girls a day.

Have those apartment's across from Eastiny & also the one next door finished yet? Had a m8 stay at Eastiny (Aug 10) & i went too visit him...gee,it wasn't very quiet with all the construction going on.

I also stayed in this hotel for few nights last week and it's a good hotel.

Only minus were Wi-Fi in my room on 1st floor almost never worked and one Soi 10 bar had live music that was very loud until around 2.30 am.

And yes, there are around 3-4 hotels building in Soi 10 so it's not a joy to walk this soi during the day to reach beach road.

But for this current opening price you will hardly get a better hotel and I wanted to stay few more nights but they were fully booked.

I also liked talking especially with sweet receptionist that her name pronounced like tummy (I think her name is TooMee).

3 or 4 girls a day? if your bringing them back one at time then no probs.. but obviously this isnt the place for you then...

the eastiny is the one in the middle of the block and it was crappy looking from the outside. and across the street i dont know what was going on there...

in my room the wifi was fast and always worked...

wasnt toomy the sweetest looking girl you could lay eyes on? she is the type of girl you want to get out on a real date situation.. that huge thai girl smile and smart to boot... i think i love her... lol...

Hows the noise at night? Some people said bars play music till 2:30AM. Was noise an issue?

my room was on the back side of the building over looking second road and the parking lot of another hotel and i didnt hear a sound.. i didnt hear any construction or bar music.. the front might have a little noise but i didnt notice to much from the lobby.. and i usually pay attention to that because i like to sleep in peace when i have an early night...

Just stayed at page 10 for two weeks. Absolutely superb, best hotel that I've stayed in Pattaya by a long way. Negotiated a price at reception and got the deluxe room for 1600 a night. Tried to book for March only today, but it's expensive on the net. I've sent am email to the hotel to see if they'll give me a deal for 17 nights.

page 10 was great when i stayed there as well. Girl behind reception is very nice too ;-)

Thanks guys, I have been looking ariound for a hotel for my trip and this looks good, will give it a try.

And if there is a cute receptionist to harmlessly flirt with, all the better.

I will finally be coming in Pattaya in May, got a smile just thinking about it.

the hotel was very good when i stayed there, got a very good deal, which the internet prices are not matching, so staying elsewhere this time. and yes the receptionist is lovely, might even pop back in for drinks with her :)

Stayed here early December at 1750 THB/night, good price I think for brand new place.

Staff very nice, asked for room at back, no noise whatsoever.

Breakfast very important for me: good choice, different soup and Thai food each day, the usual farang stuff: eggs any choice, salad and fruit bar, corn flakes choice etc.

Never observed loud bar music outside, did see music band preparing their set-up before 8pm, were gone when I came back after midnight.

Huge bathroom, good lighting, room size normal, aircon sometimes difficult to master temperature (too cold, then too hot)

Smallish but OK rooftop swimming pool, a must in my book.

Still too far from beach for me, only 200m though.

Fully aircon Central shopping mall at 200m, lots of restaurants nearby around second street.

I hope they will not up the price though.

Did not understand why check in took them so loooong, and they wanted me to pay my bill in full at check in and they went a long way to persuade me to pay upfront, gave me a bad vibe on the first minutes, almost wished I booked somewhere else. Luckily all was good afterwards.

I never stayed in a hotel that asked for the payment upfront.

The only hotels that need payment upfront rent by the hour.(ST room)

NIce room I may stay there my next trip.

I'm booked into Page10 from January 11th - 18th, and am wondering if anyone who has stayed at the hotel can help me out with a question I have on the TV/DVD setup (Not that I plan on watching TV all that often). I've tried emailing the hotel, but something seems to get lost in the translation :GoldenSmile1:

I'm trying to figure out if I can access an HDMI input on the TV to connect another device to. Does anyone know if the DVD player is connected via HDMI, or is it built into the TV?

Thanks,
