A bar lady and 13000 baht

Living Dolls One

We were out touring Walking Street on Sunday night with

Some mates and a few of our guests staying at THE DRUNKEN DUCK.

We stopped in Living Dolls One to view the line up which I may say

Is very nice and tasty as it always is

I left some mates there and moved on to see other venues.

Monday afternoon I received a phone call from my good friend

Gary at Living Dolls One asking me if I had guest by the name of

Rob staying in our guesthouse he then explained to me that

Rob had lost his wallet in his bar last night and that one of his service

ladies had found the wallet after he left the bar.

yes it still had all the money in it which was 13000 baht.

My friend then said it would be at the bar and he could pick it up

later on Monday night.

A BIG THANKYOU to the service lady and Living Dolls One

Rob now tells me that he gave the service lady that returned his wallet and the 13000baht

a very generous reward of 3000 baht

And spent 1000 baht on ping pong balls for the rest of the staff

He also gave 1000baht to the thai manager

good to see some honest people working at the bars

Farang = Walking ATM. TG's push the right buttons and money comes out. PIN = BBBJ

Great!

Thanks for sharing.

I have seen a BG run after and return a wallet to a customer who had forgotten it in the bar. I have also seen TG collect money from the pavement and returning them to a drunk foreigner who had lost them when he attempted to put them in his back pocket. He choose to give her a big warm hug and kisses and she just got embarrassed.

Fantastic story, not just for Pattaya but for anywhere in the world.

Last year I left my hotel safe open, as soon as I got down the lift to the lobby one of the front desk people let me know.

That was at the Eastiny Seven on soi 7.

I'm sure that even had I not given the house maids tips for extra towels, they would have still done the same.

Cheers

About 5,000 baht fell out of my pocket last year walking out of Angelwitch at Nana Plaza. The service girl ran me down outside to return the money.

It may have something to do with the making merit thingy.

That's a cool story man, we all know what pattaya is like, and getting a wallet back with that kind of cash still in it is just unreal. Good on the people at Loving Dolls One :Bravo1: , and fair play to your buddy for throwing around some cash as a gesture of his appreciation :Clap7: , I like it...

I can truthfully say that I have found 100% of bar girls completely honest; in this respect.

Although, as a controversial aside, if I returned a wallet, I wouldn't expect a reward; OK a thank you drink would be nice, but I was brought (dragged) up to do the right thing because it was right.

I suspect that the gentleman in question was so shocked, that he went on an adrenaline fuelled ping pong rampage; who wouldn't!

Peace. :GoldenSmile1:
